Living things in the environment are the components of the environment that breath.

Breath;

This is the act of taking in and out of air in human beings.It can also be the exchange of gaseous products in the human body.

The main out put of breath is carbon dioxide and main input is oxygen. 

Living things in the environment include;

-Plants 

-Animals

Plants;

These are green plantations in the environment.They are regarded as living things because they breath and take in food.

Their food is known as starch.

Plants manufacture ther food through the process called photosynthesis.

They provide oxygen for breath to the environment in the atmosphere.

They also absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere in the environment.

Because of their respiration, they are regarded as living things.

Animals:

These are organisms in the environment that take in and out oxygen.They also take in food which is from plants.

They take in oxygen and take out carbon dioxide gas to the environment.

They stay in the environment in their respective homesteads.

Goats

Dogs

Lions

Man

Donkeys and many others

Importance of living animals in the environment;

-Some animals like cows provide meat and ----milk to people.

-Other animals provide security to people ----especially dogs.

-They also provide security to people.

-Some animals are kept at home for company.
